You can choose from six unique trim levels: L, 1LT, 2LT, 3LT, RS and Premier, and a host of available features, to get exactly what you want and need from your Blazer.
A Powerful Trio Of Engines
The Chevy Blazer Comes With Three Available Engines:
Standard on the Blazer L and 1LT is the ECOTEC® 2.5L 4-cylinder 9-speed automatic transmission with four-wheel drive (FWD). With an EPA-estimated 27 MPG highway and Variable Valve Timing for added efficiency, this model will help to keep your gas bills under control.
New for 2020 on the Blazer 2LT and 3LT is the 2.0L turbocharged 4-cylinder engine with 230 horsepower and 258 pd.-ft.of torque (late 2020 model year availability). These models are also available with a 3.6L V-6 engine and all-wheel drive (AWD).
The Blazer RS and Premier come standard with the 3.6L V-6 engine 9-speed transmission 308 horsepower and 269 lb.-ft.of torque. The RS and Premier are also equipped for the available Advanced Twin-Clutch AWD for the best in traction and stability.
Chevy All-Wheel Drive Takes You Everywhere
All-Wheel drive is available on all 2020 Chevy Blazer 3.6L and 2.0L models. This means that you’ll have the power of torque automatically transferred to the rear wheels when you need more traction, giving you added stability on any surface or in any weather condition.
The Chevy Blazer RS and Premier models go above and beyond by offering the Advanced Twin-Clutch system. This system independently directs torque to the wheel with the best traction, giving added power and control exactly when and where you need it.
Choose Your Driving Mode With The Chevy Blazer
Chevy’s Traction Select System customizes your driving experience. Available on select models, this unique feature allows you to choose what mode to use based on the current road conditions and your driving preferences. You can easily change from one mode to another at any time—even on the go—all at the turn of a dial.
Choose from the Blazer’s six available modes—Tour, for the most fuel efficient driving, Sport, which gives you a sportier ride, All-Wheel drive, when conditions are treacherous, Off-Road, for driving on rough terrain, and Tow/Haul, if you’re towing a trailer or hauling a heavy load.
2020 Chevy Blazer: Your Choice For Rugged Towing
While towing capacities vary between the the Chevy Blazer available trims, engines, and options, maximum trailering capabilities for the RS and Premier models with 3.6L V6 engines allow you to haul up to 4,500 lbs.±. Those are impressive numbers for a mid-size SUV.
